    Default Calton Cases

I have the stock rectangular Gibson case. Is a Calton case offer significantly better humidity protection? Any other advantages?

I'm not sure there would be any real humidity difference. I've had a Calton for years and still use a humidifier. The other advantage is they are pretty much bullet proof. If you're buying used and it's really old they had an issue with a misplaced rivet and the headstock scroll. I've had mine since 2005 and never had any problems.

I second Mike , I don’t know about the humidity, but I have a 2017 and it is bulletproof.

doubt any better protection from humidity if you use the little blanket cover.

I prefer the smaller size of the calton
