Blues playing is an art in itself. Check out the thread "Blues Mando Recommendations" on the forum, "Jazz, Swing, Blues, Bossa, Choro, Klezmer, Ragtime." Listen to some of the recordings listed, and you may get some ideas. Depending on your skill level, you may have to order the recommended books and DVD's, though there are a few free blues mandolin lessons of varying quality on YouTube. Not a quick solution, I'm afraid.
