Default Shout Out to Portland Fretworks

As a newbie to mandolin, I bought. Breedlove Crossover. It never sounded "right" but I figured as I learned and gained understanding I would get it. As it turned out, as I learned it sounded worse.

My thought was to get a setup or just give in and sell it. I took it to Portland Frestworks to set it up. They did an awesome job, I now have the mandolin I thought that I bought. The only problem is that I need to retain my ear. A small problem to have for a really great mandolin.

They do amazing work. I've been going there for years (since Pioneer Music shut down...). String changes (when I'm lazy), set ups, refrets, etc. they are awesome.
