Thread: Kentucky Mandolin-how do I determine the model?

Default Kentucky Mandolin-how do I determine the model?

I came into a Kentucky mandolin, a KM650...I think. Someone scratched off the inside label so I don't know for sure. Is there some other to determine the exact model?

    Thanks,

I don't know how you "came into" it of course, but after you find out what model it is, you might want to investigate why someone scratched off the inside label.

Very true that stolen instruments will often have the model and serial number scratched out, in order to avoid detection that it is stolen property.
