If that's the original finish it looks pretty impressive.

Wow, wouldn't I love to wander into the local Goodwill and find that hanging on the wall!

Nice find for someone. Worm under tuners mean earlier than 20's in my book. Very clean nonetheless and a nice looking case. Slightly surprised at the darker finish. I'm sure someone else can figure that one out.

Could still be early 20's. They didn't switch over totally to worm over until later. You need the FON. Too bad it doesn't have the pickguard clamp. Somebody should be able to peg the year.

You won't because it's rigged. It will sell for retail or more, I'm guessing......

But sure, love to see it for $99 bucks hanging on the wall! But, that's why those Goodwill managers get paid the BIG BUCKS!

I guess I've been going to Goodwill for close to 50 years at this point and sure, some things do fall through the cracks, which might even out all the stuff that's overpriced, IMHO. It also depends on location and how much pressure is put on managers. Also, personality can play a role -- if the person in charge likes you. They can lower prices at will and practically give stuff away if they want to, but if they don't like you they can stand behind some corporate policy and take it to the "back room" for repricing and you'll never see it again.......

Well, since it's Sheraton brown and has a 1-piece bridge it's between 1918 and 1921.

Might just be me, but this seems quite low. Hope whomever won the bidding enjoys it.

Well, it is not like you are buying from an established vintage instrument dealer. To my way of thinking, I would want to get it for a low price, in case it needs work that their description overlooked.

Absolutely true - who knows if the neck is bowed, frets are raised, tuners work properly, tail piece is loose, etc. Shell out your $750+ and take your chances . . . .
