Engelmann spruce tops...your preferred bracing/ tone bars

My personal favorite spruce for tops is Engelmann. For those out there building with it, what spruce do you prefer for tone bars/ bracing...Engelmann, Red, Euro or Sitka? Is there any reason to use one over the rest...

On the one where I used Engelmann top I used Sitka bars modified X with crossing 2" above bridge and bars going under bridge feet. The top was extremely soft and especially flexible across grain, that's why I didn't do tonebars. Sounded great with nice loud, round tone and clear "pop" to the attack.
