Old Gibson
Went to an in-home concert last night in Albuquerque. Performing were Carl Jones and Erynn Marshall. Pretty well known in some circles. So he was playing a 1917 Martin, and a 1920 Gibson mandolin. A style with oval hole. Never seen anything like it but I’m a neophyte. It sounded great and the concert was a smash.

The last few times I've seen Carl playing, and it's been a while, he's been playing a red burst A4, but that doesn't mean that's what he plays all the time.
