By digital copy do you mean was it released as a CD?

It isn't available as a CD, but you can listen to it on Youtube.
The web site says it has been discontinued...I was going to download it and burn it onto a CD..BUT...Amazon is selling the LP though and you could have it converted to a CD...

The material should be part of the Bear Family sets.
It's right here on YouTube :- https://youtu.be/LmlTPFiGg0c
Download it as an MP4 & convert it to MP3 using ''Switch Sound File Converter'' Freeware - it's 100% legal to do so ,

Actually it's not legal to do so.

It's available more affordably as part of this collection: https://www.amazon.com/5-Classics-Pl...classic+albums
There you go, it is available and that's pretty cheap for that many albums.

Mike - If it's not legal to do so,how have YouTube got away with it for so long, & why are there almost countless 'free' YouTube video downloader software packages available ?.
Using one of the dozens of YT 'downloaders',you'll see that for every YouTube video, there's a 'download' button - so if it's illegal, why is it allowed ?. There must be millions of 'downloads' every day & 'up-loads' as well = folk placing music / video on a website from where they can be 'downloaded' .
I will say that i tend to agree that maybe it should be illegal - but until somebody tells YouTube, & they prevent any download 'button' from being used,i'll carry on downloading 'some' things. Others,i simply put a shortcut on my PC for - only to find a few weeks later, they've vanished !,

Youtube gets away with nothing. When you stream a song online the person that owns the copyright gets paid. There are ads on some songs that help create revenue. The problem comes when you download the song. The artist or copyright holder no longer gets paid. Once you've downloaded a copyrighted song you've run afoul of the law as the copyright holder will no longer be compensated.
As far as uploads go, I uploaded a video of my son and daughter-in-law doing their first dance at their wedding with the music playing in the background. It was about a 1 minute clip. Youtube's software removed the sound and sent me an e-mail saying the video was available but the sound had been removed as it violated a copyright.
Another wedding video I uploaded went up without issue with a song in the background. Most of the time if they can determine the copyright holder automatically they appear to simply put an ad on the start of the video. That's the revenue stream and they make lots of money but they also pay out lots of money.
Downloading copyrighted material off the Internet is illegal. Just because we can doesn't change the fact that it is.

Years ago, I sent away for a used copy of the LP just to get the tune “Bluegrass Pt1”. I love the track. No finesse involved, it’s all about attitude. If you like Bluegrass, Blues, or Rock-a-Billy etc, check it out.
It reminds me of the playing of Blues Mandolin man, Johnny Young. Nuthin’ fancy, no slick licks. I always loved Johnny cuz he would just jump in with both feet & go.

Super - many thanks for the link!!
Funny you mention this - the sole reason I went looking for it was to get Bluegrass Part 1. That song just rocks!
