Wow....technical chops they got.
All seems rather joyless though.... Anyone have any idea of what piece they are playing? I'd like to know. So, if I ever saw it in the program nots of a concert, I could save some money by not buying a ticket. My hats off to the guys for all the impressive hard work and practice time they have put in ! I am impressed by just the memorization of the (to my ear) confusing score.

The piece is "The Dog's Bollocks," "the first electric symphony in history". Nice name for a piece.

Hmmmmmm... didn't Frank Zappa compose some symphonies with electric instruments?

I think they are also practicing saying "Orchestral Junior Master" and "Gibson Les Paul Tenorblaster."

Personally I would rather hear them play without so much distortion. I know they have a special pedal board to imitate the brass section of an orchestra but I have never heard brass sections sound that distorted.
