    Default Song of the mountains

Loving the PBS broadcast of this bluegrass program. Some groups are better than others but wow what fun! Hope others are watching too.

And this thread is in the Equipment forum because...?

EVERY Wednesday night, and record them all as well.... In addition to The Bluegrass Underground and The Cumberland Highlanders.

I don't think we get it here. Maybe I need to bring that up during the next pledge drive.

I find SOTM to have a terrible sound engineer, usually the music drowns out the vocals.....The mics are never balanced so that we can hear each instrument at the same volume....I have a Bose state of the art surround system on my TV and that don`t help a bit...

Thanks for the heads up about SOTM. I don't think we get it here in Birmingham market either but many episodes are available for streaming at PBS site and thru the PBS Roku channel.

Some of the sound mixing is painful to try and listen to but I've enjoyed the few episodes I've watched.
