    Default preamp circuit board?

I'm thinking of building myself a stompbox to rationalized several pedals into one - basically I want an ABY pedal, with trim pots on the inputs, preamp and volume booster on the output. I can do it all fairly easily with passive circuits, but I need a reasonable quality preamp circuit board... anyone any ideas? If it can run off phantom power even better.

Only candidates I have so far, are cheap and horrible $10 parts, or else boosters/mixers designed for electric guitars. Or I could abuse an endpin preamp I guess. These get inserted into acoustic guitars by the 1000, so they must be around I'm hoping...

What are the pickups, Tavy? Passive piezo or magnetic?

Piezo, so I'm looking for a high impedance pre.

OK. Easy to make, you just need a basic FET buffer preamp. Only a few parts needed and loads of circuits freely available.

Godin uses on-board eq/preamps from RMC , of Berkeley Cal.. who also make onboard IC for 13 pin Guitar synth outputs..

the in bridge piezo are also made by RMC..
