For me it's about playing with others. I get into streaks of practicing daily which I enjoy but I struggle to find the time to play at jams or with others.

    In 2018:

I need to place greater focus and structure on practice sessions. Picking up my mandolin and noodling for an hour happens daily (and quite easily). But playing with purpose beyond just having fun is really making that time count with equal parts warmup, skill building and repertoire will help (to me get to the next level I'm hoping). Don't get me wrong, this is all about fun for me... but constant incremental improvement allows me to have fun in more and more musical situations.
