Trip to Naples area

Hello kind people. My friend and I are traveling to the Amalfi Coast and Tunis in December. I’d like to visit shops that make and sell mandolins. Perhaps even buy one.
Any advice or experienced travelers in this pursuit?

Don, you should visit i nostri amici, Salvatore e Michele, at La Bottega del Mandolino in Naples. Send them a note in advance and you are likely to get a Prince's welcome. Sincerely nice folks.
They do pretty well in English, but if you'd like some help with Italian there are more than a few of us here.

Of course visiting Calace would be like visiting Kalamazoo--if Gibson were still there.....a touchstone.

Coming back with a mandolin would be amazing, right?
