Default New pearl knobs for Gotoh

I took a chance and ordered the ebay JNNPearlinlay knobs for the new style Gotohs on my Collings. Very precise fit and very lovely solid real pearl. There was nothing wrong with the stock plastic imitation ivory, but you know...

you might seek someone there to make you some buttons, rather than wait for the
'You guys should' committee, to decide to do so.

I'm happy to hear that. I bought a set that doesn't fit my set of Gotoh's. I must have the only set where the holes are too small. Now that I've finished all my other projects maybe I'll start on those again. I bought a set at the same time Spruce did. His fit, mine didn't.

Mine were snug. The knobs didn’t quite seat all the way with finger pressure but snugged down when I tightened the screws.

I might try mine again, maybe file a little with a jewelers file. I have hoped to use them on my mandola.

They are solid mop. If they were the plastic bodied one's it wouldn't be an issue.
