4 years ago and I still remember the quality of tone....
Lon is a luthier in central Florida, and I played one of his instruments at Merlefest....it beat out my Sam in the midrange....anybody ever play or hear them?

Have I heard of him ?! I already own one of his fine mandos (#5), and have
another one on the way (#14). Lon is an amazing guy, and a good friend.
Not only is he a great musician with a skilled ear, his gifts (and patience)
make him a natural luthier. He's been doing amazing stuff with music
and wood just about his entire life, and is very detailed oriented,
to the point I would call him a "perfectionist". Highly recommended.

My wife and I just moved to Saint Augustine and heard about Lon. Is he still building? Does any one have his contact info?
