Default Mandolin Orchestra of Kansas City

Scott McLewin, our buddy and brains of folkjam.org is the organizer behind a new orchestra being formed in Kansas City. More on the Kansas side for those of you familiar and likely out around Lenexa but am certain anyone from the surrounding area would be welcome. Additional info to be announced on the Cafe in the near future but meanwhile, they just launched a Facebook page. Help spread the word.

Excited. I have been looking for an opportunity to get out and play with some sort of organization.

Fantastic! It is always great to hear of a new mandolin ensemble. Best of luck.

Ugh. Wrong side of the state but I wish you all the best of luck!

GREAT! Good luck! I'd love to be there, but...a...4 hour commute...um, nah.

If it wasn't an 800-mile drive, I'd be there in a heartbeat, filling in the alto clef part.
