    Default The Blues in Bethlehem

    Café community,

    I'd like to share a song that I wrote recently that is my impressions of the "blues" that Joseph must have experienced on Christmas Eve. He had walked from Nazareth to Bethlehem leading his fiancé, Mary, on a donkey and she was about to give birth. On top of that, he couldn't find suitable lodging/healthcare and ended up in a stable...I bet he felt inadequate as a man, until the birth of the child...so here is my take via this bluesy-waltz entitled Blue Bethlehem Waltz...Merry Christmas!

    Brilliant, but it does not sound so sad to me. I picture Joseph leaving the bar where he had met some of his old buddies from high school days he hadn't seen since moving to Nazareth. Now he's zigzagging his way back to that stable where he left Mary, who is going to make him feel truly inadequate...
