Default Place to donate musical instruments

I have been looking for some time for a good place to donate musical instruments, and recently found Hungry for Music (https://hungryformusic.org/). They have drop-off places and in some cases will pick up the instruments. They even take mandolins! They are very easy to work with.

Gryphon in Palo Alto, Ca. Has long supported the local VA hospital with donated instruments.

Thanks for posting this. I actually have some instruments that I have been looking for a home for and this looks to be a worthy destination that I can get to.

In my town, there's a community center that has music camps for boys and girls, and they're always looking for instrument donations. There are probably a lot of programs like that around the country.

In Canada, ArtsCan Circle is a remarkable organization which provides creative resources to indigenous youth living in remote northern communities. Started by harmonica genius Mike Stevens after he met native youth while playing in Labrador. They accept instrument donations especially if you can get them to Toronto....see the Take Action link on the website. Www.artscancircle.ca
