Now that is an as yet unsolved question. Either a strap button on heel or wrap around bottom of neck.

I really like using a strap buttoned on the heel but I've ordered a strap that loops around fret board at the heel of neck to see if I can avoid the heel button.

Nice 2 point tho! Will it be a sunburst finish?

Yup, but light tobacco colour rather than dark brown. Which strap did you order?

That back grain is gonna look good once the stain goes on. Whats the eta. I'm eager to see his tobacco burst on this mandolin

re strap: the wife got me this Sully strap for Christmas. I liked my first Sully strap a lot but it's made to use a heel button.
