An A Jr. with a Straight "THE GIBSON" logo and a SNAKEHEAD headstock!
Seller states, The manufacture numbers 8833 located inside could be aprox 1908.

More than likely the seller is reading the second digit of the serial number incorrectly, and has left out the last digit. 8833x gives us a 1932 ship date, which is a few years too late for a snakehead. 8333x gives us 1928, which fits the logo orientation (and the fact that a logo appears on an Ajr at all; most of them have plain headstocks, but model specs get muddled toward the end of the snakehead era).

Under no circumstances was this made in 1908.

I'm in agreement with you on the 1928 manufacture date,
nice perk to have a "The Gibson" logo on an A Jr.
I hear these necks are thinner than paddle heads (not a good thing with my fat, bass playing, fingers).
Still, a lovely instrument.
