Nice. Sounds a lot like my old f-2. I'm a little envious of your Handel tuner buttons.

Thanks. Yes, the Handel tuners are beautiful and give a very elegant look and vibe.

It's so rare to actually hear any clean clips of an F-4. Would you mind uploading a video of you playing some Bach on the beauty? Liked and subscribed btw!

Thank you...but how about some Norman Blake or Sam Bush or David Grisman instead of JS Bach?

    I can do that...

Do you (or anyone) know the exact years (starting and ending) when Handel button tuners appeared on Gibson mandolins?

I have a 1922 F4 71080 fon 11548 from (according to Joe Spann) around January and it is from the first batch of Cremona finished instruments. No Handels. However the serial # suggests it was shipped in fall of 1922 so the tuners were likely installed in late 1922. I always assumed the Handel tuners were on teens instruments or earlier.

I don't remember but it seems to me around 18 was the last year for them
