    Default String Swing Wall Hangers

I just bought a few wall hangers: two for mandolins and one for guitar. I got them from Amazon and the brand name is String Swing (Hardwood Home and Studio). They seem well made, and I definitely have them solidly mounted to the wall (used drywall anchors). But I wonder about the screw-in hanger piece pulling out of the wood eventually.

Has anyone every had a problem with one of these? Any success stories (i.e. "I've used them for years with no issues").

    Thanks!

I've used them for 20 years, with drywall anchors. I usually had 6-8 guitars and mandolins hanging at any one time, including several Telecasters, Strats and 335's. I would not hesitate to use them if a proper drywall anchor is used.

Same as rfloyd. Only problem I have is I worry about earthquake shaking rattling the mandolins sideways and out. Some have a 'keeper' to prevent that, some don't. No real need for the 'keepers' yet, but they say the big one is overdue.
