What are the best stores (online) to shop for mandolin-arranged sheet music?

If all I can find is sheet music for violin/fiddle for a particular song I'm wanting to learn, is that sufficient?

Here's one good source for downloadable sheets, no charge. They are a little difficult navigate because of sheer size and organization, but you can find tens of thousands of sheet specifically for mandolin up in here if you look around:

Unless the piece has things that are really idiomatic for the fiddle, fiddle music should work just fine. I recently mentioned in another thread that almost any sheet music can be played on mandolin.

If you actually want sheet music in hand (not downloads) Sheet Music Plus (NFI) has a lot of music, some in TAB and some just arranged for mandolin.

the string's pitches of Violin & Mandolin are the same G D A E.. middle C is the 4th fret on the G string.

I most often just play from piano music. I play the melody and grab whatever other notes I can. I've posted this several other times, but in case anyone missed it, the University of Colorado has an incredible collection of sheet music. I have downloaded quite a bit of their turn-of-the-century ragtime collection. Even if you don't like ragtime, the artwork on the covers is fantastic.

They have changed the format since the last time I visited and it seems less accessible (I'm a computer idiot), but I'm sure those interested can find their way around. Anyhow, check it out if you are interested:

Buy the Fiddle player's Fakebook, you'll use it for a lifetime. The one for fiddles is in standard notation and you may have to adjust for some of the fiddle techniques noted, I've heard the one for mando is in TAB and not great but you should just check it out yourself.
