    Default Circle Strings mandolin

    Hi everyone!

So I have a new mandolin on the way and I thought I’d share some of the photos I’ve been getting from the builder. The builder is Adam Buchwald and his company is Circle Strings. His shop is based out of Burlington VT. The first time I was introduced to one of his instruments was at a booth at Freshgrass and I walked away with an octave mandolin/tenor guitar! Since then my wife and I have both purchased a guitar from him. One slope shoulder for my wife and a parlor for me.
I don’t have the mandolin yet but I was able to play it in the white and test out the neck. I instantly fell in love with the tone. I wish I could hibernate until its done! I’ll also post a video of me playing it and just running it through different registers of tone. The mandolin has maple back, sides and neck with an Engleman top.

Thanks for letting me share the journey with you all!

Heres the video. I don't really play much of a song in it. Just little clips of things to test out the tone.
