Thread: Flat top plans?

    Default Flat top plans?

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find some free army/navy mandolin plans? This is going to be my first build so I figured I start off easy. I just can seem to find any blueprints/plans for one that are free

Contact Terry Majewski at Crystal Forest mandolins. He sells plans for a nice Army Navy Flat Top. Here's the link to his 'plans' page:

    Good luck with your build!

Not free but $19.00 doesn't seem excessive.

Get a copy of Graham MacDonalds "The Mandolin Project". It has plans for flat top, bent top and carved top instruments. He also goes into differing methods of construction for different types.

+1 on Graham's book. If you have never built a mandolin plans alone might not be the best route.
