Default 1917 Gibson F-4 with Cremona finish?

I know it is hard to tell from photos but the top on this one looks more brownish than the usual reddish finish of that era. I have seen F-4s from around 1921 with that finish—a friend of mine has two of them—and ones dated later into the Loar era, but didn't know they offered that finish that early. Unless, of course, it was returned to the factory and finished in the 1920s or later. Back looks seriously shiny, too. Hmmmmm...

Can't say for sure from pictures, especially since they're not very clear.
Several things make me suspect overspray, but I would not swear to it in a court of law.
I don't see evidence of a complete refinish.

Warning warning warning: "Seller does not offer returns"

I don't buy on ebay, but if I did, I would be more inclined to order the 1913 blonde F-4 in Florida.

Hmmmm!? Case looks more than “minty” to me, I might be wrong. Flags for me.
