    Default DuDu Maia: Grammy Nominee

The great DuDu Maia(bandolim) along with Alexandre Lora (pandeiro) and Douglas Lora(guitar of seven strings)and Anat Cohen(clarinet) have been nominated in the World Music category for their recording "Rosa Dos Ventos"!

"Rosa Dos Ventos" by Anat Cohen and Trio Brasileiro is on Anzic Records, recorded at Casa do Som in Brasilia. DuDu is also a fantastic engineer/producer.

NARAS members should vote for this recording and mandolinists of every style, level, and interest should check out the work of maestro DuDu Maia.

Woot, woot! Trio Brasileiro is hot. I have their "Simples Assim" CD. Christmas list got a new item.

Pickers should know Dudu published some of his tunes in sheet music for free download from his website. None require a 10-string, although he plays one.
