I have reached that level of fame in my own mind, in real live I keep getting smaller and smaller sound systems.

Sennheiser e835 for vocal and general utility use, AT Pro 35 to mic the mandolin. Still working on a quick on and off mount for the 35. Clip to toneguard works good but I feel the need to use clean release masking tape to keep it from moving about. Love the Sennheiser.

I can get very OCD and carry an entire backup sound system ;-) but to answer your question I usually have a Shure 57 & 58 in with my cords and DI box just in case.

I carry an Audio Technica PRO 70. It's a lav. I have a special strap that holds the power pack on my back. I use the tie clip with a piece of felt in the F-Hole.

It works extremely well, resists feedback (albeit not in high-volume environments) and sounds very natural.

Plus I can bounce around the stage a bit. That said, I still prefer to work with a single LDC and mix with my feet.

I always bring my mic case and generally use SM58 for vocals. I have a K&K in my mandolin, but I used a SM57 before that.

I always have an extra mic, cable, patch cord, etc. with me because they always fail at a gig, never at practice.
