    Got to play on the one they had at IBMA this year. It was a stand out even among the other Ellis and Pava mandolins in the booth. With all the back ground noise it was impossible to get a real feel for the finer points of it's sound, but it was very strong. Fiddle and Fret has it listed in the classifieds now. It was a very classy looking mandolin.

    Thanks Adam, I have always liked a good 2 point really nice to see Ellis making them now.

    From Ronnie - "Anyone play one ? ". Ronnie,i think that the one featured in a fairly recent Cafe thread was Tom Ellis's first 2-point mandolin. Whether he's going to build 2-points as part of his regular building regime,we don't yet know. Why not e-mail him ?. He's a terrific guy to deal with & i'm sure that you'd get your answer,
