Breedlove American OF
I'm thinking of thinning the herd a little, mostly to raise a little extra cash to pay for the Eastman MDO305 I have on order and was wondering what a reasonable price to ask for a mint condition 2011 Breedlove American OF might be.
I think I paid 12th Fret somewhere around C$1,200 (I recall being very pleased that they were charging the same in Cdn dollars as Elderly sold them for in US) but I also see that Breedlove has moved their mandolin production overseas.
Thoughts?

Unfortunately, the Breedlove move to China has affected resale prices of the USA made mandolins negatively. I thought that the move to China production would have boosted the allure and price of used USA made Breedloves but the lower pricing on the imports is actually putting downward pressure on the USA made ones as well.
I saw a Breedlove OF on the cafe classifieds recently that was reduced in price several times. The ad disappeared shortly after moving the price to $600, so one would assume that was the going price. There are a few listed on reverb.com, but have been there quite some time unsold in the $800-$1100 price range. I saw the mandolinstore had a few in their archives that sold around $750-$850. So that might give you something to go by.
