Then I’d just need the mandolin to go under it!

Seems like Craigslist would be the wrong market for this to reach the right person, IMHO. But, now it's on the Cafe, so problem solved!

I have friends, personal researchers I could call them, whose two primary joys in life are buying stuff on Craig's List, and pointing out to me things I might be interested in buying.

In the very few case where a friend finds something I want on CL, most of the time someone here at the café simultaneously posts a link to it. (It's uncanny actually.) In one case it lead to the purchase of my cherished Stiver asymmetrical two pointer.

Were it not for such friends many of us could have retired early.

Similarly, I have a friend who STILL finds amazing vintage instruments reasonably priced at pawn shops, but the catch is anything good only lasts about 10 minutes for sale before someone buys it, according to him. He lives in a city with a lot of pawn shops and that's what he does every day.
