    Default making a mandocello conversion

i found a decent taiwan made fina seven string guitar. the head stock is very long. you know what i am thinking, my lutheir friend has a set of small tuners from a broken takimine 12 string. i am thinking of making a mandocello!!! 25.5 inch scale, fixed bridge, should work with the right strings. it's a moderate jumbo body with cut away. bigger lower bout than most guitars. i think it will work. what do peoplethink? am i going to have intonation problems? it seems an easy refit.

I do not anticipate intonation problems if the nut and bridge are in good shape. Let us know how it turns out - and take pictures!
