Default A Chord Melody from the hymnal

As a newbie I like taking simple melodies and finding ways to integrate with chords and double stops. It's a great way for a newbie to learn music and the fretboard IMO

I love this! What a song, and played in a joyful manner.
Wish I lived in Texas, Mark.

Mark, I printed it and played it last night. I appreciate the song, first off. This style of song is not what I try, so I'm learning something new. It has some crosspicking, some chord melody, and I think several places to improvise for myself. Thanks again.
