Thanks Bill! Yes, it´s a 10-string mandolin that I use. I have normal mandolin tuning plus D-strings (not C-string) down below the G-strings. A Finnish luthier Arto Pulkkinen built this one for me 15 years ago.

Yes, you're right Ralph. Actually the west coast and the south coast of Finland both have been mostly Swedish speaking areas. The influences between Sweden and Finland have been strong within folk music. I don't have myself Swedish as a mother language, but I love to speak it Thank you for your interest! Do you have grand-mothers or grand-fathers from Nordic Countries?
