    Default Journeybear Are you OK!

Haven't posted in quite some time here. Life cycle change I guess. Was thinking about Journeybear who lives in Key West. Has anyone heard from him? Hope he is well and that he evacuated Irma's Path.

He did not evacuate and stayed in Key West. He marked in as safe on FB and friends have posted they heard from him and he is well.

J.B. Sent me an e mail and wanted me to thank everyone that was concerned about his safety, he fared very well, no power as yet and drinking water is scarce, some water for bathing etc but not for drinking...

The development near Lakeland where I used to have my winter home got hit real hard, quite a few houses were damaged and trees down on top of a few, friends sent me some photos of the area, Am I glad that we sold the place last April, "yer durn tootin`" as Gabby Hayes would say...

I figured he'd stay and stick it out. Great hearing that he made it throughtout the effects of Irma. Can't imagine what he is going through. I've lost power in my home for 15 days before. It was a severe ice storm that came to us in December 1999. He has lost much more of his daily needs.
