Or, in this case, Bourbon Before Brunch
Or, in this case, Bourbon Before Brunch
Good job. I love that tune.
Do you ever sing the words?
Good job picking! I am fond of that tune and of BT bourbon. Hard to find in my neck of the woods
Jeff - after WBB has went around a few times - I love to break out singing WBB on my break.
"early one morning 'fore the sun could shine...' Good stuff!
Jeff and Mark, thanks. I don't sing much, so like most of my tunes, this is an instrumental. We visited Buffalo Trace last year, and I have become a fan and email friend.
The historical "Buffalo Trace" was where Buffalo would migrate from salt licks in western Virginia, through eastern and central Kentucky, across the Ohio at Louisville, then northwest to the northern plains. Through Illinois, the trace runs roughly along the route of present US 150 or I-74. US 150 is the main road through the town where I live, and is literally just up the street about a quarter mile from my house. Next time I go to the distillery, I could just ride my bike to the corner and turn right!
Ran a "whiskey before breakfast challenge" here a while back (https://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/s...fast+challenge) - here's my entry:

That's great. Reminded me of the time I spent travelling in places where the only reliably safe beverage came from the Duty Free shop. Nothing quite like the combination of Crest and Glenfiddich.

Nice pickin'. I hear Ezra Brooks calling my name.
Here I worked with the Words and made my own version of this song:
Here's my take on it, paired with Fiddler's Dram a la Norman Blake!
