Default Peterson Level three Octave mandolin IN THE COMPANY OF GREATNESS

Though I have never played one of these,
I have a feeling I'm IN THE COMPANY OF GREATNESS

Seller stated... I recently sold a weber Gallatin Octave and this kills that weber.

Went for $1,502. (The two bucks makes me think a sniping bot got it.)

"Greatness?" I dunno 'bout that, but Bill PetersEn made some nice instruments when he was building OM's. Elderly used to carry them consistently. I think the price was darn reasonable.

Is it a "Weber killer?" That, IMHO, would be a matter of taste. Both brands were well-made and well-designed. Do you like chocolate or (flamed) maple walnut?
