    Question Advices on Electric Mandolins

    Hello,

I'm actually an acoustic player and I want to try an electric mando. I'm thinking of a 5 strings, solid body (I already have a nice old gibson for the acoustic sound that I'm really happy with). I saw few names coming up often : Jonathan Mann, Schwab, Almuse, Rono,.. Any advices on those ? Or maybe something else to look at ?

I'm living in Belgium, so it is really hard to try one of those things, we don't have any specialized shop here... Every ideas are welcome !

    Thank you!
    Lorcan

You should be able get Gold Tone there. They have a 4 and a 5 string electric.
