Default What's your latest Cornish tune?

Mine is "Wembalo", from the website http://www.an-daras.com/Index-Cornish-Songs.html

    Plays great on the mandolin.

Well, not very recent, but this is one that I play all the time

As for new tunes, I met Neil Davey recently and he very kindly wrote out and sent me the tab for two tunes he wrote on a Jackie Oates album- the hills of trencom, and Pedn Olva, both of them fantastic 5 step tunes. Hope to try these out with my band soon, as well as Oll En Gariow En Beaz, another terrific 5 step tune.

Thanks for the posting, Robbie. I visit Fareham quite frequently. Maybe we can get together and you can teach me a few tunes?

    Dew Genes

Don't have a video of me playing it, but this is a close rendition of the way I play it.
