Default Inteestng article from a New York Lyra maker

The author teaches as the same school as I, but I've never met him. Look's interesting. http://www.nyfolklore.org/pubs/voic4...l-excerpt.html

I wasn't sure where to post this, but figured it would be under "other" instruments.

By "grassy", I imagine you mean a bit like bluegrass. Yea--a little like a bluegrass jam. I dig all kinds of Mediterranean music, and the lyra is cool.
