Default My New (To Me) Gibson Tenor...

This guitar has always been one of my favorites, and I'm sad to say it's now in my possession...
Sad, because a good friend's demise is why I now have it...
    Beautiful, no?
Yes, those are Brad's scratches on the top...
It's also full of A-string ball ends, and a rattlesnake rattle...
RIP, Brad...I'll take care of it for you...

Sorry for the loss of your friend but with that nice tenor you'll always have him close at hand

Beautiful yes. The pictures say it all. Are there any recordings of Brad playing his guitar? I would love to hear them if its at all possible.
    Sincerely.

I'm sure there are....lemmee have a look around...
He mostly played tenor backup for Texas-style fiddling...
I've already recorded it, and it sounds beautiful on tape...just a shimmering high end...
I'll post a sample when i get the rest of the tune done....
The thing weighs about 2 lbs.

Here's a couple pics of Brad Pinkerton with the tenor...
At Clifford's Tavern, just off the Weiser campus:

    ...and with another Gibson tenor:
