Name that Bluegrass Boy

Sorry to butt into the mandolin forum, but someone sent me this thread. I'm a banjo player but I have a current visa which allows me to post to other forums.

This is one topic I can respond to with absolute certainty. The man in the picture is definitely Art Stamper. There is no question. Art and I played together for 40 years. He was perhaps my closest friend. I was on his first album (The Lost Fiddler) and his last (Wake Up Darlin' Corey). Over the years I got to know his parents and all of his brothers and sisters. I'm still in regular contact with his wife, his son and his last remaining sister. He was a wonderful man and a great musician. The music just seemed to flow straight from his head, through his hands and into the fiddle. He is sorely missed by a great many people.
