    Default George Bauer Mandolin?

I have never seen an 'A'-style Bauer mandolin before - and that is what this apparently claims to be. Even the 'name/logo' on the headstock is unfamiliar to me.

    Any thoughts?

I was looking at that one, too. It sure looks like a Gibson creation to me, like a C-1 or a Kalamazoo KM-11 without the pickguard.

EXACTLY - that Gibson look is what first caught my eye . . . I guess I will have to make a phone call and see what additional information I can get.

It's the same as a Kel Kroydon. It's a Gibson second line product from the early 30's.
