Do you a pic of that baby Kieth? I would think it must go on the heel, how could it go on the body?

Jake mentioned the possibility of using a sheet metal screw into the side of the body.
Nice guitar keith. I'd like to try one of those out sometime. If it were me, I would go into wood. Wood is easier to fix than metal,should something go wrong. Good luck with it. I'd love to hear you play.

Mine is placed according to Jacob's diagram; it was installed years ago by someone at McCabe's in Santa Monica.

I put one on the base of the heel on my National tricone, a straplock system. Works great.
