Never considered it before, but if you substituted mandolin for flute, all of Ian Anderson's songs would really sound good.

(Although 'Aqualung' was okay, I really wasn't a big fan of Jethro Tull. I guess I was more into Laurel Canyon at the time.)

Got it in one. I agree Aqualung is too heavy for me but Salamander is a great example of Tulls lighter stuff. And I think of that acoustic stuff a mandolin would be a fantastic addition. I'm kind of suprised he never used one.
