    Default Ordered me a new BC pick

    Picked it up at Lowe's Store jam last night (where the jam was quite good, btw. Ebo Walker played some e-bass. And Olin Davis, maker of Rattlesnake Mandolins was there, good picker.) The pick is stout, with nice glide and attack. 16-16 never sounded so good...

    I need to bevel some cheap picks over 1.5mm sometime.
    Soliver arm rested and Tone-Garded Northfield Model M with D’Addario NB 11.5-41, picked with a Wegen Bluegrass 1.4

    Not sure I like it over the 60 at this point, but it is pretty dang hefty. You'll check it out at camp, Drew.

    2mm - that is hefty. Might need to raise the action some to slip it under the strings
