    Default Interesting instrument

So you take a Regal? tenor from the '30's and change the keys....make up a headstock label that says Martin etc.....

    Curious ...curious....curious

It's not a Regal it's a Kay. It was built by Stromberg-Voisenet (they became Kay).

The funny thing is that it's a nice guitar.

Here is an original. It sold for good money on Reverb a while back.

So what is the deal with the headstock label? Just something someone added?

Martin was always rather understated in their labeling.

Not only do those tuners look like the cheap plastic-type things from the 80's - but one if them dosen't even match!

    Otherwise, nice piece!

Too bad he's asking so much. The relabeling makes me suspicious of other "improvements."
