    Default Name That Tune...

Hey Gang, I was looking through the classifieds and saw a YT link attached to a Collings for sale. I scanned through the video to hear the instrument and heard the song that begins at around the 19:30 mark. I know I've heard it, but I can't remember the name. (The Involuntary String Band plays with this orchestra,.. good stuff!)

Can anyone help?... Run it up to about the 20:00 minute mark and take a listen.

Its a beautiful Collings too, wish I could afford it!

Sounds like a variation of Liza Jane, but then "old time didn't we just play that".

Thanks Pops... I looked it up and found this "Goodbye Liza Jane"

And wow that's a really great tune, but I don't think that's it... I've heard the first video's song on Pandora,... it may be something more contemporary, but really not sure.

Sounds like John Reischman's Salt Spring to me.

Even stranger the notes on the YouTube page for that video say "Whiskey Before Breakfast — Involuntary String Band." That doesn't sound remotely like any version of that tune I know. It definitely sounds like the Reischman tune above.

Ah, thanks... I didn't listen past that tune tho I also wonder why they didn't also credit the Reischman tune.
