    Actually the name change thing at Ellis Island is well documented way before the 40's. If you ever get a chance to visit Ellis Island you should.

    For being the "manufacturer" of all those really decent mandolins that inlay looks amateurish. Honestly, I just don't buy it. That headstock looks like it was painted with a brush.
