This is an English morris dance tune, which I first came across as the tune to a song sung by John Kirkpatrick on the classic 1972 folk/rock album "Morris On". This arrangement for contra dance band is by Evelyn Tiffany-Castiglioni, from her forthcoming ebook "Evelyn's Big Book For Mandolins For The Year 2017".

It can be taken in various different styles. Evelyn's band play it as a reel, it's listed as a polka on thesession.org, but there is a great video of the morris dance version (without lyrics) by The Albion Band here: Link (from a fabulous -- and long-buried -- 1979 BBC documentary on the band). My tempo is bit slower, more like the "Morris On" song version.
